How do I make perfect attendance certificates for my whole class?
Choose Certificate of Attendance as the type and K-12 Classroom as the program, then name the program something like "Perfect Attendance Award 2026-2027" so that line prints on every certificate. Paste your class list, and each student who earned it gets their own certificate with their name on it. One paste, one click, the whole class done — which is the part a downloadable template cannot do for you.
How is this different from downloading a certificate template?
A template gives you one blank certificate that you then retype for every single person. This fills in the names for you. Paste up to 200, and you get 200 finished, individually named PNG files. If you have ever spent an evening tabbing through a Word file changing one name at a time, that is the evening this gives back.
What certificate types can I make?
Six, and each changes the wording on the certificate body: Attendance ("has attended"), Completion ("has successfully completed"), Participation ("has participated in"), Achievement ("has demonstrated excellence in"), CLE/CPE Credit ("has completed", with credit hours shown), and Volunteer Service ("has completed volunteer service with"). The layout stays the same, so they all look like they came from the same organization.
Can I make certificates of completion for a course or training program?
Yes. Pick Certificate of Completion, name the course, set the date, and add the signer name and title that should appear at the bottom. Use the Employee Training or Event / Conference program type to get a sensible default signer title, such as Training Manager or Event Organizer. Every participant gets their own file, named after them.
Do the certificates look good enough to hand out?
They are designed to. Six finished designs — Classic Navy, Elegant Gold, Achievement Green, Leadership Purple, Bold Crimson and Clean White — and each renders at 2× print quality on A4 landscape, so it holds up printed on real card stock rather than looking like a screenshot. Can I use this for CLE or bar association compliance?
Select the CLE/CPE Credit Certificate type and enter your credit hours; they appear prominently on the certificate. The layout includes issuer, date, authorized signer and title fields that most licensing bodies require. Verify your specific bar association or board requirements before distributing.
What file format do certificates download as?
High-resolution PNG at A4 landscape (1056 × 748 px, rendered at 2× for print quality). PNG works for digital distribution and prints cleanly at standard A4 or letter size.
What is the difference between certificate types?
Each type changes the wording on the certificate body. Attendance says "has attended". Completion says "has successfully completed". CLE/CPE says "has completed" and shows credit hours. Volunteer says "has completed volunteer service with". The layout is identical; only the phrasing changes.
