Private Attendance History Links: Visitors can now see their own attendance

You can now generate and send an attendance history link to your students/visitors/employees! A private page, individual to each profile, showing them every check-in they’ve made with you. It’s now live. You can find it on any profile you open from a Sheet.

Sounds familiar?

Someone messages to ask how many sessions they’ve made this month. Or whether last Tuesday counted. Or they need their hours to see how many they have left to complete. The answer is sitting in your records, so you filter, export, tidy it up and send it across. A few weeks later, ask again.

It’s never hard. It just always has to go through you.

A link of their own

Open anyone on a Sheet and you’ll find their attendance history link right above their Pass. Copy it, or hit Share via email.

What they get is a simple page: their name and your organization at the top, their total check-ins, days and hours, a calendar with a dot on every day they showed up, and each check-in listed underneath with when they came in and when they left.

It’s live, not a snapshot. A check-in this morning is on their page this morning.

So the next time someone wonders how they’re doing, they already know where to look.

Here’s how the admin can create a link and send it to them:

You decide what they see

Click Customize this link and pick one of three access levels:

View only - They see their attendance history, and nothing is editable. Every link starts here.

Notes & photos - They can also add notes and photos.

Manage profile - They can also edit the fields you’ve chosen to show them.

Below that, pick which profile fields (like Birthday or ID Number) and check-in fields appear on the page. You can also let them upload their own profile photo, which is a nice way to put faces to a roster full of initials.

Try it on the last person who asked

Think of whoever last asked you about their attendance. Open them on a Sheet and send them their link.
